I write (mostly) dark poetry and fiction. Here at On the Fringe of Darkness, I’ll be consolidating material from previous sites and adding new, in an attempt to bring years of work together. Occasionally, I slip “out of my groove” and write a poem with a more sunny disposition, but it’s not my default setting. I’ll add those in too.

I also enjoy painting and will share some of my work from time to time.

The stringing together of words has always been a big part of my life, and will continue to be so as long as there’s a functioning mind inhabiting this old body.
